Bicycle Mechanics - Shifting slips on climb

Hey guys, I recently had some shifting issues due to a cable problem. That issue has been resolved. Now I have noticed that when I'm climbing hard and mashing at the same time, the gear would slip (jumping like 2 cogs) when I shift up. I don't think this is normal, correct? It would make like a clank sound then jump up like 2 cogs. What can I adjust to help with this? This would not happen I don't mash the pedals and spin up a climb.

I do not know what your drivetrain is but i recently had the problem on a Campy 10 speed set up. My problem was after about 25,000 miles the springs in the brifters were worn. I rebuilt my right brifter and everything is as good as new.

I have sram rival but the components are new probably less than 1500 miles on them. It shifts perfectly on the flat. Just when I climb hard it does it.

Always ease up on the pressure while shifting.

All those features, ramps, shorter and skipped teeth, that index shifting need ..
make for a tendency to ghost shift.
