My daughter decided she's too old to Trick or Treat this year. How am I suppose to get free Nestle Crunch bars and Reese's Peanut Butter cups? Damn...:(

Ask Peter Gabriel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKb9XQ39-zc) :innocent:

Dressing up in costumes?
Playing silly games
Hiding out in treetops
Shouting out rude names

Buy a ton of candy and forget to turn your light on or accidentally turn it off early?

Go trick or treating yourself if you want free candy.

The last time I went trick or treating with my kids, one of the neighbors had a hot cider "treat" for the parents, only. Yup it did take the chill away, and we went back a few times.

Offer to babysit someone's infant for the night. Put the baby in a pumpkin outfit and take it trick-or-treating. I can't tell you how many men I've seen with tiny babies dressed up who are out trick-or-treating. Granted, they may very well intend to give the candy to the baby, but I think it would be awfully difficult to eat a Snickers bar without any teeth.

Last Halloween, we sat in the front yard with some neighbors enjoying adult beverages discreetly and roasted pumpkin seeds indiscreetly. I gave out one or two beers to dad's I knew that were out with their kids. A few minutes later I hear out of the dark "Hey, take your kids to jsharr's (they used my real name) house. He is giving out Red Stripes!"

How big are the kids in your neighborhood? Shouldn't be that hard to take candy off some of the smaller ones. Just be careful not to overreach. Some of those fairy princesses can be scrappy little buggers.

That's too much work. I want free candy brought to me (except for Candy Corn, that stuff taste like wax).

As a parent of a teether (only two teeth so far), I have no doubt that the little August would plow through all of the Snickers bar except the peanuts. The chocolate, nougat, and caramel would likely end up scattered over a wide radius, but some of it would end up in his mouth, and the peanuts Daddy would take away before he choked on them. Then Mommy would find out what we were up to and ground us both for weeks. :)

Last year, I had a crazy neighbor (literally - she was eventually taken away and locked up). She sat outside with candy and beers... she gave the beers to the kids!!! and sat and ate the candy herself. Yeah, the police had un with that one!!! :o

BTW she also started a fire outside trying to make s'mores... would be OK if we lived out in
the woods, but this was intercity, in an apartment complex, during red flag warnings and high Santa Ana Winds. After the fire department left, she took a hose and washed out the inside of her aprtment.

There was a good reason to haul her off. :innocent:

I always buy wayyyyyyy more than we will ever give out.

And I'm sure to buy what I like best. If I let my wife do the shopping she just buys something cheap.

I used to have it made, since my daughter didn't like chocolate. I got to pick out the chocolate and divide it with her mother. She got too old for trick or treat but she would go to high school or college parties and sometimes I would get her chocolate anyway.

This is what I do. The plus side is you get what you like and you can eat the candy with no guilt, just think how you are saving children from consuming too much sugar.

Oh, and by the way, MP... If you get hungry, the pin-pad combination to the garage door is the same as my ATM PIN. The refrigerator in the garage is padlocked, but you can find a key in my top left dresser drawer. The key is on a green plastic fob.

Lock up when you're done, OK :thumb:

I'll get right on that.

I'm just going to wait until you get a huge gathering on your porch and drop down on the little unsuspecting kiddies and break their bags of candy like pinatas.

It's 9p, the Office is on...move your head to the left a little.

Hmmm. No PB cups, but there is a Reese's stick option. Kit Kats - yes. I don't remember if they are Dark or Milk Chocolate. 5th Avenue is available too.

There is also Dagoba, but you have to request it.
