Just a heads up, SART is closed from GLASSELL to Imperial from OCT 12 through the 22nd, on weekdays between 7am and 4pm. I guess they're gonna repave that section, we all know it needs it.

Edited: Changed lincoln to Glassell. Sorry for that.

Imperial to Kraemer needs it, the section to Lincoln was done not too long ago. It doesn't seem that bad to me there but who knows!:D

Thanks for the warning!:thumb:

Right around Lakeview is the worst. I rode there with my hands relaxed on the hoods recently and my left hand got completely knocked off the hood by some rough patch. Almost wiped out. Lesson learned.

How am I supposed to get to work? Guess I will have to take the streets.

Do you remember a few years back when they were working on parts of the SART? Like the underpass of Garden Grove Blvd? They did a re-route. Do you think it will work on this patch?

When they reworked the section us north of Lincoln, they put up a temporary trail detour type that looped around the section being repaved.

I do remember riding on the opposite side of the river when they reworked the section before Edna Park. Riding on the opposite side of the golfcourse then through the hood to Edna.:D

Looks like it will be Santa Ana Canyon road to Lincoln Ave. I guess I can deal with it.

I'm sort of glad that they're redoing the road all the way to Lincoln since some jackasses road on the tarmac when it was still soft the last time and put a bunch of tire marks and grooves on the road for about a 1/4 mile stretch. Every time I ride by it I mutter about what a bunch of dorks those folks were. So it'll be nice to have the grooves removed as well as taking care of the roots and stuff that make for the bumpy ride over by Lakeview.

All American Asphalt flubbed/skimped that last job anyways. That thin coat of topping they used for most of the last re-do from Glassell to Katella is often more rough than what it was. The only thing they did right was the 1/8" asphalt re-pave between Taft and the RR bridge next to KM Orange.

Added a correction, for some reason I typed Lincoln to Imperial, when really the re-sealing is between Glassell and Imperial.
