Five bicyclists have been killed in the Tampa Bay area in the past 2 months. There will be a general memorial bike ride -- Honor the Fallen -- @ 7 PM Friday leaving from the Seminole Heights Garden Center. Slow 10-12 mph pace - 15-mile ride goes into downtown Tampa through Ybor City back to Seminole Heights.
Helmet and lights are required - reflective clothing and bike equipment are highly recommended.
Please note that this is a meetup style event - riders are responsible for their own safety.
