I saw lightning in the mountains on the way to work before sunrise. It was a little eerie.

rain in the summer sucks. I lived in the midwest for 2 years and there was nothing worse than a hot hot day followed by a crazy thunder/lighting storm and then 60%+ humidity the next day. no bueno. I'll take an average temperature of 83 year round and I'd be happy.

Actually I heard of some pretty good rain in SD. In my neck of OC we had some clouds, some showers and some rainbows.

It rained pretty good in North SD county last night. Let's hope that keeps the fire danger down this month.

I had a meeting in La Jolla yesterday and had fun driving home through the rain. When I got back to OC it was dry and clear. Today, thunder and lightning, very cool until the power went out in the building and I had to sit in a hot, dark office until the power came back on. Still fun though, listening to all the rumbling this morning!!!
