Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

After having been ordered off the bike for over a week by my doctor after a bit of surgery on my neck I got cleared to ride. I have ridden everyday this week except Tuesday and even though I have had to deal with fog in the morning I think this has been the most enjoyable week I have ever spent on the bike. Warm sunny afternoons have more than offset the hard to see in pea soup in the morning. Hope it holds for a few more weeks

This last week has been great for me too, great weather and slight decrease in the challenges from others on the way home.

Welcome back, I hope your recovery is going well.
I was on vacation all last week and really missed my work commute. Thankfully, I was able to do a couple of longish mountain bike rides, which eased the withdrawal and was a nice change of pace.

Still a bit of residual discomfort at times and tenderness where I wouldn't think there would be, like away from the incision but over all pretty good and best of all no tumor anymore and a clean bill of health.

Congrats on the great news!
That's great news. Sometimes we take for granted our commute until one day we are forced to stop. Glad to hear you are getting better.
