My Salsa Casseroll came with the Conti's, but I also own a set of the Panaracers.
General opinions on the two? softer ride? less rolling resistance? better quality?

I know in theory 28s faster/harsher and 32s slower/softer. What does anyone think from personal experience?

I changed from 28's (not continentals though) to the 32 urban max and I consider it a major upgrade for my commute on less than ideal roads. I didn't really notice them being any slower on good roads and I think they are actually faster on the bad stuff because I don't have to stop peddling to unload the bike nearly as much.

I do not have any experience with the Continentals but i use the Panaracer Urban Max. I have had pretty godd luck with the Panaracers and have only had three flats in 3500 miles.
