There are a lot of good bike shops in the area and most of them coordinate rides out of their respective shops. Each shop has it's loyal customers and riders that will swear they are the best. There is also the Sarasota-Manatee Bicycle Club that has rides for every level. You should not have a problem hooking up or finding a quality shop.
