Hello,
I was surfing gathering info on my new bike- Trek 1200 (my last was a '84 Schwinn!) when I stumbled across this great forum. As I nearly killed myself using clipless pedals for the first time, I stumbled back here and found some good advice on getting use to them (all suggestions welcome!).
I am (actively, I hope) returning to road cycling after a 19 year hiatus. My son just got his first bike and it rekindled the love I once had with miles of open country road. I relocated to this area (Center Valley) for a new job. I am 37 yo, have a 5 yo son and a daughter on the way.
I look forward to speaking with all of you who have kind words of advice to share on how to get use to the bike, besides riding (balance, shifting, clipless, gear, etc.)
Happy cycling,
Jim Daley
