Commuting - Sunlite panniers anyone have any feedback

I think i might buy one of these to test em out and just figured I would see if any of you guys have tried them. I already have an axiom typhoon but i can't fit my laptop into it and at this point im not wanting to drop another 60 or 70 bucks on a bag for something i dont carry with me every day, know what i mean. Anyways just wanted to see if theres any feed back on these thanks

I have tried to look these panniers up to see if there are alternate views but I looked at four sites and even the Sunlite site itself and they only show the front so its hard to make a determination on the installation. They look pretty good and the price is good so if you aren't worried about how they attatch I'd say go for it.

Thats the problem im faced with i might just do it, i dunno though i seem to change my mind every 15mins

In 2005 I bought some Sunlite panniers as a "stop-gap" measure to get me through until I found something nicer. This after I exchanged 3 sets of Trek panniers when the attachment mechanisms broke on the first ride of each.

I'm still using those Sunlite panniers...

I have been using a set of Sunlites for the past 4 years, These aren't the same model, mine have 2 snap buckles on the flaps. They have vinyl coated clips that hang over the rack with bungee cord tensioners to strap to the bottom of the rack, Been good so far, just looking a little faded from the Louisiana sun.

I have the Sunlite Grocery Getters. My only complaint is that there is reflective material only on the front and not on the "sides" so that they provide no visibility to drivers behind me. Otherwise they work great and the folks at Kroger don't forbid me to bring them in as they do with my backpack.

I'm curious about those Sunlite bags too. They are in my price range - and waterproof to boot (bonus).

I starting commuting almost 3 years ago with Sunlites and they're still serviceable.

I have the Sun lite canvas panniers. They work well. They flap a bit with the rack I have when they aren't full. But they hold a lot and are quite light. I have used them for 1 & 3/4 seasons. They don't protect when it rains. Once they are saturated, everything that isn't covered gets wet.

But, dispite all that, I still use them. It works well for me.

Added note, the reflective material is on the back and sides of my panniers.
