anyone have on of these? i have seen them on a few bikes, and almost got a bike that had one on it.
how do they work exactly, and what do they feel like compared to regular full suspension bike.
Its a valve in the shock that reacts to the terrain, but not to forces above (ie a rider standing up and pedaling). You need to realize though that there is a distinction between a "brain" (Specialized Epic) and a SPV (Manitou + Push, etc) setup. I've ridden an Epic and its nice, but not my cup of tea at all. I really don't like full suspension so I'm probably not the one to ask. If I feel the SLIGHTEST bob or play in the setup, I'm done with it.
