Hi to you all from a very Autumnal Denmark.

I am Steve and am originally from England. I have lived in denmark for 7 years and I work in the sail making industry.

I am an occasional cycle rider. Well I was an occasional cycle rider until earlier this year and then I bought a 2008 ICE QNT trike and I cannot keep off it now.

I am 52 years old and reasonably fit but have never been a big fan of 2 wheeled bikes, even though I have had many. The trike has made a big difference because it is so comfortable to ride, even when it is loaded up with all the camping gear.

Denmark is a wonderful country to ride around and is possibly the most cycle friendly country on the planet. Cyclists come top of the pecking order on the Danish roads unlike some cyclists in other countries. I think it has a lot to do with having the CSC Cycle team coming from Denmark.

Although we do not have mountains, it would be incorrect to surmise that Denmark is flat because it is not, I would describe it as undulating, in places. Unfortunately, where I live is one of those places.

As you may have guessed, I do not know too much about cycles or how they work but I am happy to give advice about riding in Europe, and what I do not know I can always find out for you.

Steve

Welcome neighbour! I rode some in Denmark this summer in and around Thy coastel line and national park. But I never saw any classic SCO´s...

Welcome to the forums. You'll find lots of helpful information here.

I visited Denmark about 40 years ago and found the country beautiful and the people friendly. You must be enjoying living there.
