really? is the pista really that bad?
since this is on the same topic, i have a 51cm chrome pista, the dude i bought it from painted flat black. i stripped off the paint hoping i could salvage the chrome, but it got sanded. its not deep scratches, some areas are still chrome. the fork was not sanded and still chrome. i want to sell it for $200 with cane creek headset, is that ok?
i know the stickers are clear coated over, is the whole chrome frame clear coated or just the sticker section?

I think a lot of people buy pistas cuz they say bianchi on them IMO.

I wouldn't want it if it was free.
everytime I see a pista I see another soul who bougt it cause they thought it was cool. No offense, though personally I think pistas are ugly.

unicrown fork on chrome frame = not so great imo. the blue pista looks fine

non-original fork = red flag.

That's not a great deal either. I see complete Pistas going for $400-500 all the time.

yea - material, built quality, geometry
and the swapped out(but not upgraded) fork leads us to believe that it could have been in a head on collision

and they've been known to crack at the welds around the seat cluster.
