Mountain Biking - Stupid Question- How do I tell what travel length my Fox Fork is?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This is a Fox 32 F29 FIT RLC
The stanchions measure about 3.75 inches at rest between the fork and the crown.
So is it 3.75 X 24.5 equals 91.8? They don't list that as a choice on the website. What am I doing wrong?

80mm, 3" +/-

The distance between bottom of crown & the top of the bushing on your lowers is gonna be more than your actual travel. (or you'll have some major issues)

My 80mm measures 3.75" as well.

If you want to increase it to 100mm, start from post#24 (for the RL series, not sure of internal differences in RLC):
