Hi, folks.
I just started riding on New Years Day this year and quickly fell in love with it. I had a 1987 Trek 840 for that first ride and I worked very hard to keep up with a group of women with shiny road bikes. After trying one of their bikes, I bought a Trek 1.5 (much easier!) and I've been riding almost every week since then. I did my first organized ride of 56 miles on Valentines Day in Palm Springs and am preparing for my first metric century in November. Expect to find me most often in the 50+ forum learning lots from my fellow "master' cyclists there.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
