Actually, I only had a few minutes to research donating again today at work. Unfortunately, I don't think it is long enough to donate yet. While I like having long hair, it's really starting to drive me nuts. I guess I will let it grow longer.

Oh, and I messed up my thumb nail putting together a telescope for my father a month ago. I'm a geek.

Used to grow my hair verrry long - like below the waist (believe me - long hair - and blue jeans with a belt is a pain).

But the best circumstance to cutting that off was ...

Picture this (and I've talked about this before) ...

Hot and sweaty day - and I'm in line at a grocery store - standing behind this man who is stinky from sweat in a tank top.

I, pull my hair around me (for some reason) and I discover a section of hair is ... "stuck".

I look ... and to my horror - two foot or so of my hair is stuck under the sweaty man's underarm who is before me in the grocery checkout aisle.

He moves (caused I pulled) and he looks under his arm and thus, drops my shard of "moist" hair.

....
....
....
I did not know what to do with that segment of hair (that rather looked like it had been "starched").

Could not wait to get out of that store, toss that very stinky mass of hair behind me and go home and shower!!!

BTW - my hair - when it was below waist length has been caught in car windows, elevator doors (try panic when that happens), car doors and electric car windows.
