Introductions - Connecticut Home of roots and rocks!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am neither a root nor a rock, although they sometimes try to bring me down to their level.

I am an avid Mountain biker. I do not road bike. I am afraid of cars. No wait it's not the cars I am afraid of its the crazy things insde that are talking on the phone, eatting a breakfast sandwich and sucking down a cup of Dunkin Donuts black stuff (I can't call it coffee cuz it dosn't even taste remotely like coffee) changing the CD in their 30 CD Changer and downshifting all at the same time. Cuz when I drive I have to admit I have done all of these things! I'd rather ride in the woods. Enough said.

With that said, I love biking and fixing my bike and biking some more! I don't own a bike lock and my bike has no reflectors or kickstand!

Now that I've gotten that off my chest.....

Fell free to read my blog! If you live in the area or just want to read about what CT is like (from my perspective anyways).

hey bcsmithct,
I'm from CT too, and just got into mountain biking. I added your site to my blog roll, will be cool to read about CT and biking from someone else's perspective.

:)
