MY current thinking is a cannondale bad boy disc with additional set of rims for hot swapping with fatter street tires for my non commute rides through the city.
I believe that this would come under 2000$
I have not priced a set of rims with all the parts yet. the bikes 1060$ plus tax.
my concerns comes on part's and maintenance fees. paid to area bike shops.
Since my current bike is my only means of transportation

With a new bike my old one will be my back up so i can try to do my own repairs.
With this in mind i would like opinions on the bikes i see with roller brakes and internal rear gears and even the gates belt drive.
