first post.
thinking about getting a dia compe front break for the new "BIG RED" Custom Alloy Rolling Project.

Anyone have experience with this brake?
also accepting opinions on budget pads.

they seem like the same brake as their keirin brakes, which i have on one of my bikes. Well it works. It feels a little bulky and stiffer compared to Tektro brakes.
As far as pads, kool stop.

They are decent brakes. I used them for awhile.. and have been meaning the mount them again.. Stopped me in a jiffy when I had them on.
