What's the difference betweeen the 2003 and 2004 10 speed parts. Any compatability issues or is it the carbon fiber in 2004 parts. I noticed 2003 parts are steeply discounted!!

I might just pick up some of those parts as long as they will work with the new stuff.

Any problems running medium cage/long cage rear derailleur with 11-23 cogs. I was thinking of the medium cage just in case I have to ride the santa cruz century (mountains)....then I could switch in the 12-25 or gasp!!! the 13-29.
