1st century evar today, the Clandestine Clenbuterol Century Challenge Classic.

The trip started at 8AM at 45 degrees out, and ended at 5PM at 85, which made dressing a challenge. I found that sticking a bag under your jersey so you can toss it (in a trash can) later works pretty well.

No bonks or walls, actually a steady pace for the trip.

I'd like to thank, in no particular order:
-- peanut M&Ms, three bags of them, the ultimate energy food.
--Coke and Mountain Dew.
--the two tandems that let me wheelsuck for about 30 miles.
--the RXL saddle, which was surprisingly more comfortable than the Terry Fly Ti I'd been using the past three years.
--my family, for not reporting me to the police as a missing person.

I feel strangely like crap now, but I got a cool sticker I got to put on my car identifying me as centurion.

I guess that's it.

No pics, even though the view from the Indiana side overlooking the Ohio River was spectacular. I was just hanging on for dear life.

BTW, I'm lying in bed with my IPhone. I tried to get up and both legs went into severe cramps. It's going to get weird when I need to go to the bathroom.

I assume you did not need any tainted meat, horse meat or Deep Woods Off sprayed on your private parts.:D

Congrats. I am very happy for you.:thumb:

I'd rather have tainted meat than a meaty taint.

Glad you enjoyed the ride and raised your status to distance rider from rider.

But watch out- Even with the leg pains you now have (The others will come later)- You still have to go round the neighbours to let them know that they have a "Super Athlete" amongst them. But I suggest you leave the "Zimmer" frame and crutches at home as they might not believe you.

Congrats TWL. The first century is a great accomplishment. While there may have been no clenbuterol, EPO, or other chemistry involved, you had physics on your side - hot air floats. :thumb:

Is there an annoying "Pictures or didn't happen" rule?

In lieu of actual pictures we might accept a high rez scan of your car sticker. 240 or 300 dpi should be good enough for us to produce reasonable counterfeits.

Now that I can do. I'll have it up in a bit.

Congrats on your first 100'er TWL! Next up is your first double. Leg cramps laying in bed are just nasty, one little move and the process just progresses on until you are rolling on the floor and the wife thinking you are having some kind of convulsing fit.
