Alt Bike Culture - Kickstand for Lowrider

Anyone know if theres such thing as a 5-6" kickstand? 8" seems to be the smallest I can find online. The pedals work for now but when my new ones come in, I don't want to be scratching them on pavement.

Even lowrider bike websites don't have em, what the hecks up with that?:D

Make your own...Mount one and cut it (hack saw) to whatever length you need. Leave a little extra. Heat the tip with a propane torch to red hot, then bend slightly on an anvil (hammer).

My Koga Miyata WTR in '04 came with a modified Tubus Ergo
with a KS attached to the lower left of the rack..

I didn't want to mess up the color by heating and don't have a torch, so I improvised a bit with a socket and a shiny bolt instead of bending it.

i would guess no one makes them 'cause when someone makes a lowrider for theirself there's no set height. a manfacturer would have to make them in 1/2" increments or something.

on a couple i just cut the kickstand down and welded a fender washer to the bottom to help with stability.
