To improve the racing experience of 55+ racers and ease scoring issues
in the jam-packed 10am races, MABRAcross has changed the start time of
the 55+ masters to 12:01, to race on the course with the Masters
1/2/3.
This decision was made after consultation with the 55+ racers, the
local officials and all the MABRA -CX promoters. While the move has
the overwhelming support of the 55+ racers (the idea came from
discussions discussion with some of the them), any 55+ racer unhappy
with the change may receive a full refund or transfer to another
category (space permitting).
This change creates extra space at the larger races- that means 15
extra spots in the 10am race. And plenty of room to grow in the 55+
ranks!
Races are filled or filling at DCCX- cat 4 racers still have lots of
options: e.g. the 3/4 masters, the 3/4 open, or the "only at DCCX"
Rookie race.
There are also options for tandems and singlespeeders- all categories
welcome.
