Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Does anybody make a fixed/freehub hub?

I want a hub that has has fixed threads on one side and a shortened splined freehub on the other (ala WTB Single Duty). Does anybody make such a hub?

It would be really nice to only have to buy cogs instead of freewheels to switch ratios on the freewheel side, and to be able to share cogs with my SS MTB.

Bolt-on cogs are the only way you could have a free hub and a fixed side but you will have to sacrifice your disc.

I bought out a horse trailer full of wheels a couple of summers ago. It had a lot of crap in it but there were 3 sets of budget 90s track wheels. The sort of thing that probably came stock on a 15 years ago. Jalco 30mm rims and flip flop sovos hubs. I remember one sovos hub having a freehub on one side and a fixed on the other. Crazy thing.

2010 Marin Hamilton 29'r came with a flip-flop hub. Fixed one side, SS freehub the other.

I snapped a pic when one came into the shop a few months back, but it's on my phone and I don't seem to have the technlogical where with all to convert to a image I can upload here.

You can check the specs on the bike though, and see that it's listed that way... but no model. Just says "Flip Flop, Freehub and Fixed Gear, Alloy Double Sealed, 32 Hole"

Anyways... what you seek does exist somewhere.... just have to figure out how to get one I suppose.

Marin seems to have spec'd a 2 speed hub for 2011 on the Hamilton, so maybe the previous flip-flop has disappeared to the world of cycling myth.
