My kids got me a new trainer for my birthday, it's a Blackburn Techfluid model, now I live about 20 miles south of Chicago, so I'll be on that trainer everyday after Thanks Giving as the weather will be real crappy by then, But in the mean time I'l still be on the road for the exception of rainy, and really windy days, now I just put on a nice set of Continental GP-4000 tires. My question is should I put the old tires back on now, or will it be OK to keep the new tires on as I will only be useing the trainer on bad days until the weather shuts me down around Thanks Giving, and then change-out the tires?
Thanks,
Paul :)

I don't have a trainer but I do have rollers, in my opinion I would save your good tires for the road and use old tires for the trainer.
A better option would be to get a spare rear wheel with trainer specific tires (for quieter loner usage), this way you can easily switch wheels for training and road use with out having to deal with tire changing all the time plus less wear and tear on your good wheel.

have a look on ebay for a cheap wheel and cassette, then get a trainer tire.
I use a separate wheel and cheap tire dedicated to use on the trainer. If it's within your means, second set of wheels is a nice thing to have anyway. But to answer your question, a few times on the trainer between road rides should be OK. Then change tires when you are only on the trainer.

like its been said already, best bet is pick up a spare rear wheel and cassette from ebay or craigs list and keep it trainer specific, i am using old tires that are not good enough for the road anymore
