Never seen pedals like that, would those work well on a fixie/ss?
Need pedals ASAP and looking for some platform pedals

I'd be worried about pedal strike on fg, plus you will have to MacGuyver some foot retention.

Why not go with "normal" pedals?

those would work with holdfasts, but seem a bit more than necessary, you know?

I'd do it with Holdfast straps. I know some people with similar set ups and it feels pretty good.

But then thats $100 on pedals and straps

Get some cheap plastic pedals and some holdfasts. Light, feel good, work great. I'm partial to my $8 Haro Smallblocks but the Odysesy twisted PCs seem to be the standard.
