i'm in the market for a mountain bike. a seller is taking offers on a litespeed obed with xt (97). what would be a good price for this bike? it has a newer manitou 6 shock fork and white industry ti hubs.

i'm new to mtn biking, but the ti frame struck me. OR should i pass and look for something a bit newer, 9 speed, alum frame, and w/ LX/XT components?
