Bicycle Mechanics - Just converted from flat bar to drop bar... one question

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've managed to convert my hybrid commuter from flat bar to road bar thanks to some roadie parts lying around. It was a saturday morning project. Managed to get over the V-brake/STI challenge. See http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?687238-V-brake-and-STI-shifter...-why-the-incompatibility
Anyhoo, I just realised that the barrel adjuster for the FD is attached to the V-shifter unit. Therefore I am left with no barrel adjuster. What are my options? Can I remove the V-shifter's barrel adjuster and somehow connect it to my STI brifter?
Or do I need one of those inline barrel adjuster?
thanks!
Unless the cable stop on the frame is threaded to accept an adjuster, an inline unit is the best way to go. It's simple, reliable and inexpensive, something that's harder and harder to say about bike stuff.

+1, also, if your frame does have threaded stops, putting a barrel adjuster into the stop(s) would be even better than that.
But, do not forget that you have a barrel adjuster on your RD (most likely), and he likes to help, too. I'll bet you can rock most of your fine-tuning with only the adjuster on the RD. (I used to have to do that on my mtb, before i got thumbies. One of my bikes has three (3!) barrel adjusters between the shift and the RD! Overkill, but convenient at times.

I have these Jagwire rocket adjusters. Quick to install.
