bought a SR Pro Racing bike, full dura ace heres the link for it http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/1995898204.html bought it for $200 without the new wheelset, only the original dura ace/ayara's how did I do?

I think you did good twice, getting the price to $200, and getting the original Araya/DA wheels. Double kudos!

well the original price included both sets of wheels, but i did not care for having new wheels on an otherwise 100% original rig down to the bar tape and 80's cycle computer, so i told him to keep those and got him to 200, kind of an impulse buy (vintage dura ace, had to) but i dont think ill lose money if i sold it

the wheels alone make it a great deal IMO. Nice.

So is this SR the same SR who makes cranksets and stems and seatposts, etc.?

If so, does anyone find it a little odd that they'd put Dura-Ace all over a bike made by a company who makes components themselves?

im pretty sure its the same company, they probably wanted to start building nicer bikes but could not make stuff as good as DA, just a thought

Pretty sure it's the same company SR or Sakae Ringyo. This bike has been up for sale for a while now if I'm not mistaken? Very nice bike none the less.
