General Cycling Discussion - What about Cinelli?? Are they new? Old? Good? Bad????

Hello everyone,
I'm doing some little reserche here. Trying to know what is your feeling about Cinelli...In general, where do they stand on the market? Are they fixi geak company, a road bike company? Give me your ideas please.

First I think you deserve the following image for asking if Cinelli is any good. Because that's to me is like saying if Ferrari is any good.

Cinelli was one of the best companies for high end bikes back in the day. They still make good bikes. I believe they make both track and road frames.

Cino Cinelli is one of the founders of the modern Italian Cycling industry,
up there with Tulio Campagnolo.

Well, first i wish to appologies to anyone one i might have have offended....

I guess my question was not well formulated..sorry, i'm french from Canada, might not be as smooth talking-writing as you guys could be :)

I may look dum but It's just because i see so many forums and so many web pages talking about OLD Cinelli but not much about the new stuff? What about now, the new generation of products...their frames road or track, the new ones? What about the parts, the new ones?

Maybe you know where i could find some intersting reviews (not Sep. Bicycling, i have seen it, thank you) or some good forum discussions about them. Their style, trend. The quality of the frame designs, geometry, stifness, etc.

I love their paint jobs, they are peice of art for sure but this does not make a good bike... Hope you follow my taughts on this and thank you for your help.

I'm only looking to get the feeling of anyone, everyone how wants to feed me in infos.

I have a newer Cinelli and it rocks! You have to own one to know.

have you looked at the cinelli.it site? there are steel and carbon frames. chromed head lugs. look and decide for yourself.
