Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Larget tire for a 2008 Madison?

Anyone? I had Schwalbe 28s a while back., but cant remember if I had more room there.

You could definitely go bigger in the frame but I don't think you'd be able to squeeze much more than a 28 into the fork.

You're lucky. Vintage Madisons can only take up to 25. If you want or need a bike that can accept wide tires, the Kilo WT or Kilo OS is your weapon of choice!
I have a similar bike. I squeezed a 28 on, but had to dremel out the brakes, and in the rear only use the back half of the drop outs.

get a crosscheck, run it fixed and put 700x50's on it!
