Southeast - Group rides in West Palm Beach area?

Running the Marathon in December. Bike is coming with me.

Can't find any group ride calendars for the area. Would be nice to find some nice Mon./Tues. afternoon moderate paced group ride. Here in the GA hills we'd call that a 17ish avg paced ride, flat FL may be more like 20ish avg.

Maybe even beginner/intro level ride could be nice, just to tow along to stretch legs, see the sights, meet some new cyclist *shrug*.

TIII, do you ride in Broward ever? I am a true newbie, so i am looking for anything and everything.

Stoob82, there are plenty of newbie-friendly rides in Broward, check out these Meetup groups - South Florida Bike Club (http://www.meetup.com/soflabikeclub/): organizes rides on a nearly daily basis, some are more aggressively paced, read the descriptions carefully. Wanna Do Outdoors (http://www.meetup.com/WANNA-DO-OUTDOORS/): weekly rides at a more leisurely pace, plus some weekend events, camping, kayaking, etc. TIII's group (http://www.forum.freakbikenation.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=4&st=0&sk=t&sd=d&start=0) is great too, and the monthly "Hollyweird" ride is a blast!

I wont say I dont go to Hollywood/Miami/Stuart etc, I just dont go there for work, every other weekend, etc.

Did you ever find some rides in the area? I found one through the Bicyclerly on Wed night from Rooney's at Jog and Okeechobee that I am going to try to make this week. I am looking for something on the weekends too. Haven't been on the bike in a while so maybe 17 mph for 20-30 miles....?
