Mountain Biking - Maelstrom!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

There you go. I love how sram deraileur use no hoop. Unreal. Anyways there she is in all her glory, after a ride, before a clean and pretty dirty (considering how dry it is)

Thanx...great bike, very strong. I have nothing but good things to say about her.
The white has grown on me. I didn't originally like the colouring, but now love it. Contrasts perfectly with the fork from heaven haha

Black is All the colors combined. So therefore if you like white, the absence of color and you like black the culmination of color, then you must like yellow, the approximate middle of the visible light spectrum.
WHERE's the YELLOW?????????
Oh, that's my OTHER bike!

hahaha...now I am just teasing. Haven't had this much fun since art class...
Hmmm...yellow. Maybe I can paint my roast that colour. With the new drive train on the bighit I have enough parts to finally get my xc bike back up and running. Powder coat yellow :)

No..grip shift on the left hand side for front shifter. Several reasons. I have some missing fingers and hence a grip problem. Everytime I take my fingers off to change gears I am loosing a lot of strength. This allows me to never remove my hand except for braking. (Dirtbikedude gave me this idea a long long time ago)...
Also I hate setting up front shifters, they always make noise in some gear at some time. This allows me to be lazy...set it up and it works period. No muss no fuss...and it is sram, I really wanted to give this a serious go. I tried manitou instead of marz and was happy...then boxxer and was happy and now something else again...

I was in my garage today, I've got three frames in there! Granted, one is my first road bike from '87 that will someday become my fixie, the other is cracked and I really need to send in for replacement (not warranty) and the third was another frame I don't need.

Wow man. I keep forgetting how much you have. Right now I have an old norco wolverine (very old ;)), the bighit (my favorite multi use), my roast and the transition. The only thing I can see needing is a road or cyclocross bike. Something fast and not so burly haha

Replacement? The Intense? How does replacement work? Is it just sending the frame in so you can get a new one for wholesale? I hear kona does that. And warranty is a free repair? I think I get it.
