Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - The Pista, lets do it again....

So I thought about what you guys said and concurred that it was too much celeste going on so I changed it up again....Im was thinking about scoring another saddle (yellow or black) but rather just ride this one out for a while until I wear it out unless someone wants to take it off my hands beforehand.

Kudos for getting Krylion Carbon, they're good set of tires.

Also, you might want to move where you place your computer.

I would say over either setup pictured a set of all black tires with black bar tape would be a great deal of improvement.

If you only ride the bike on the street which it looks like you do, I recommend conti grand prix 4000. Great tire all around. Last around 3k, I've got about 1.5 on mine.

Hmmm...that yellow is interesting. I always thought white complemented the celeste nicely, but that's just me.

I think the tires are a huge improvement. I'd maybe go with a black saddle instead of more yellow. So its a Celeste - Black - Yellow bike instead of Celeste - Yellow - Black. Know what I mean? Part of me wishes the bar tape was black, and instead the yellow was kept to smaller accents, like straps or brake components. I like the yellow with the celeste but in large portions like that bar tape it starts to clash a little.

i prefer the before... except for that brake lever. It's pretty damn awful.

The bars and the stem have to go. That seat post and seat tube combo are mismatched as well. Not that you can really do anything about it.

I liked the "before" tire setup much better. I would use the celeste tires, black tape, and a black saddle.

Although, I like the Pista Concepts better than the SUper Pista's.

i think it looked great before, the only things i would change would be the seatpost, flip the stem, point the horns a little more down and loose the brake.....but thats just me:thumb:, its your bike build it how YOU want it:)

Personally I think it looks great either way. But I think you should make your bike look how YOU want it too.

wow i really like the look of it before the yellow. like, allot more.
i think the all matching celeste is the way to go, even with the celeste seat. if i was going with an aero tubed celeste frame with lots of surface space for color, might as well go all out with celeste! and if you were to replace celeste with other colors, i would think silver/black/or white are safer options, makes the bike look more aesthetically cohesive.

yah i actually really dig the previous build. im sorry but the yellow just looks out of place. just my opinion.

I'm diggin the yellow for something different.
I'm not into set back seat posts, but if it's comfortable I wouldn't let aesthetics get in the way. Bars are fine, stem looks a bit long, but again, if it fits right...
I would have liked to see black cranks though, and a piece of black tape on your steer tube behind that stem.

I kinda agree about the Thomson stuff. A lot of great alternatives out there with a little bit more personality.

how much will you sell me that seat and celeste tires for...

moral of this thread is, there is no build that will satisfy everyone on this subforum. So just do whatever u like to ur bike.
