Classic & Vintage - Cream tires, options? (26")

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well the chrome/blue Sierra is ridable, approaching done, biggest thing is racks, fenders and tires while I try to re-leather this brooks.
I'm building it up as an out of state touring bike.
I really REALLY want some cream tires on this thing for aesthetics, it looks like my only options are Fat Franks (which are a little bit gigantic and really low pressure for me) or the Delta Cruiser.
I may be having a fail night with google but I can't find information about the deltas recommended PSI or if 1 3/8 will work on a standard 26" (559) mountain wheel (what I know about the way sizing is written out says no) and I can't find a 1.375 or whatever delta.
Which leaves me with only fat franks?
There has to be another option out there.
A cream Marathon+ or RiBmo would be so prime its not even funny, but I'm pretty sure those don't exist. Does anyone have any recommendations?

For 26" The Electra Retrorunners look great and at 2.125" would fit a lot more frames than some of the wider 2.25" and up tires. I'd love some fat franks on my Varsity Cruiser but 2.25" just barely fits and I know 2.35" won't.
I've got the Kenda 2.125" (in whitewall, not creme) and when mounted on the rims an on the bike, IMHO they looked the way you'd expect 14 dollar tires to look. Cheap. I ended up with Bontrager whitewalls in 2.25" but that was last spring and I didn't know about the Cream Retrorunners.
Veloria thats a great blog post, thanks!

They really need to offer the Fat Frank in a 26x2.00 (or even narrower). The brick red version is friggin' cool too.
My LBS had a Trek 950 blasted and powder coated clear. It's essentially grey with the visible brazing (gold). Mavic rims, creme Fat Franks, Paul's front rack, North Road bars and Technomic stem. It might be the most bad a$$ grocery getter I've ever seen.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Delta Cruisers are available in 26" (MTB, 559). They are available in 26x1 3/8 (EA3, 650A), but that doesn't help the OP.

I have a pair of fat franks on my '85 mongoose ATB, but would LOVE them at 2.00... I wish replying to your comment would make this happen..... le sigh.

I don't see the Felt Quick Brick listed in that list, you can get those in cream, brown, whitewall, or black...

I wish I could find a picture of that tire in cream... I can only seem to find images of the whitewall version. Otherwise, it's perfect. Thanks for the link!
