Does anyone know how much a 52cm lemond poprad weighs. I thought it was about 23#s, but read one post where someone built one and it weighed 17#s. I was curious how to build one up that weighed less. Also, does anyone know the weight of the frame/fork. thanks

You can make any bike pretty light. you just need lots of money for very light components.
yea, I saw a propad that was a single-ring set up with a really lightweight set of coda cranks, and dura-ace derailleurs and shifters, XTR brakes and one of the true temper CF cross forks. it was light, even though the guy said he had his "heavy" wheels. I'd guess that it was at most 17-18 pounds...
Mine weighed in at 22 lbs last time I weighed it. (2004, 52cm)

A 52 would weigh about 23 stock. Stock 55 is 23.8 estimated. Those Bontrager Selects are heavy, but tough. A good tubular cross wheelset (kings, reflexs) can shave over two pounds...
