Cat-Eye computers are great and among the most durable and reliable available. Their tail lights are decent and their headlights pretty limited.

That set you reference is ok but the headlight is only a "be seen" light and is not nearly bright enough to ride with at night. If you want a light that will really show you where you are riding in the dark, that isn't it.

I actually have a Cateye headlight that is solar powered. It has a rechargable internal battery and a spot for a AA battery as well. It does the job and I have yet to replace the backup battery. It came in a set with the taillight and it's decent as well. That computer looks decent. I've got a Planet Bike wireless one and it works great.

The headlight in the set is ok as a flasher. I use two similar Cateye tailights when I commute - one on my helmet and one on the back of the seat. Have used several cateye computers and all have been at least ok.

Really? I'd go with it soon. Thanks for your effort.
