They call it a disc wheel. Enough said.

I have the 43mm version. I've been riding them for about over a year now with no problems.

It's a shame they made the sidewalls so ugly, although they don't look as bad polished.

Thanks for the input. I contacted the seller to ask, "what is the wheelset weight?". He responded 4.2-4.4 lbs. Initially, I thought he was
saying they were between 4.2 and 4.4 lbs. When I asked him if he was sure that they were no more than 4.4 lbs, he responded that the
"front wheel weighs 4.2 lbs and the rear weighs 4.4 lbs". WHOA! No, Thank You!

I've decided to take Scrodzilla's advice "I'd rather spend a little more money and do much better." and go these

Are you kidding me? My burly DH wheelset (front/rear together) weighs like 6lbs. That's a set of geared 26" wheels with 36 spokes and 32mm width.

If $200 is your price and you must have an "aero" rim, id recommend these over the Vuelta's.

Or if you want something a little lighter and better looking in my personal opinion, try these.

What are the reasons you recommend these over the Veulta wheels?

I thought that the OP titled his thread that way to be obnoxious, but then I discovered that he was just quoting the ebay description! :roflmao2:

What are the reasons you recommend these over the Veulta wheels?

Because I have first hand experience with Velocity and Sun rims and know that I didnt have any issues with either. I do not have experience with Veulta products so I cant recommend them due to not knowing how they rid, how well they hold up, and the such.

"If $200 is your price and you must have an "aero" rim, id recommend these over the Vuelta's."

Does this mean that you recommend Velocity and Sun over all products you have no experience with?

No, I recommend the Velocities and Suns because I know they are good rims for the price be it that Velocity is now overpriced compared to before the fixie scene blew up.

As I stated above, I do not have experience with Vuelta products so I can not recommend them having no experience with them over a product that I know about.

If you want to recommend product that you dont have first hand experience with, take it somewhere else.
