Hey All - I am a super newbie. Have been riding for a week on my new '05 Trek 1200 (BTW-Great Value for starter bike). Anyways needless to say that this is a very expensive sport/hobby to get started in. I was wondering if there were any internet venders that had great deals on cycling apparel. Thanks for any help you all can give!!

A note on Nashbar is that they some of their goods do dip to incredibly low prices but to be safe on availability I'd call in the order vs. ordering online (as it may show it's available and after your order goes thru you may get advise that it ent out of stock). Also make sure to check out the hot deals section of these forums to get the 10% discount code.

I think www.velowear.com has reasonable prices and from what I've seen so far Voler clothes are of good quality. And they let you exchange for free if it doesn't fit.

Check eBay. I'm particularly fond of the older, super-ugly stuff you can find on there. I have 5 jerseys from eBay, and I got each one for less than $10. Shorts are a little harder to find, and make sure they're new with tags. Would you want to wear someone's old nasty shorts? I don't understand why people buy them like that. But hey...sell your old shorts on there.
