I have the hub listed above and am looking to replace it. I just want to ensure I get a compatible unit. I would reuse my existing roller brake.
I am looking at this unit
I think it is compatible but am not sure.

Should add, I got a rough measurement of the spacing and it was about 130mm (could be off 10mm either way as I did not remove the tire or chain guard).

The current hub you want is the Nexus SG-7R46. It would help if Jenson gave the model number and referred to a roller brake rather than calling it a drum brake, something Shimano does not even make. BTW the hub includes the parts to allow installing it without the roller brake attached I believe, based on the photo. At least the one I got from AEBike did. About the same price and AEBike is giving free shipping on orders over $75.

Thanks! They sell the roller brake as well so I may as well replace it all and be set for the winter. Thanks again!

I got the hub today and assembled it and it is a thing of beauty, but I have one problem. It apparently was a kit meant to replace an existing hub and my hub is an older type that is not 100% the same as this one. Specifically the way the shifter cable is attached. My old hub has a screw that was permanently attached to the hub and the cable went in a slot and the screw was tightened to hold it in place (so it was all one unit). This new one needs a separate assembly(screw/nut) that attaches to the cable first then slips into the shifter assembly, similar to how the roller brake works). I do not have this screw/nut that is suppose to connect to the shifter cable and the new hub did not come with one. The must have assumed one would reuse the old one. Anyone know where to get this part??

I think I answered my own question (lol). While looking for a picture I found this at amazon
looks like what I need. Just wonder why it was not included in the kit???
