I've been working with IGH lately and having a horrible time getting the circlips back on the hub. No problem getting them off. Is there a tool for this? I have several tools for the flat circlips, but can't find any for the round, spring wire type on IGH. My thumbs are mangled. I'm old and pissed. There must be tricks of the trade, right? Or do you just have to be tough as hell?

I use a really small flat screwdriver. Hook the ring under on one side of the spilt and use the screwdriver to work it around.

Yup. That's the best tool for the job. It gets easier with practice.
