I may have just found man's best friend.(IMO) With all the increased mileage, due in part to the great weather , It's hard for me to avoid the dreaded " rash" that comes with long hours in the saddle. I read about the use of anti-bacterial soap for people like me and I have used it for about a month and it make all the difference in the world for me. Other (bar type) soaps seemed to only irritate an already bad condition. I will never be without it, no burning or stinging.
O.K. - what are you talking about?
Is mans best friend a soap?

NO, NO, NO, Please don't use the anti-bacterial soap as a lubricant. Use it to wash your crotch and arm pits(and other sweaty parts), as soon as possible, after each ride. Try it, I think you 'll like it.

What about dogs? Dogs may chase you on a bike, but they are great. I remember many long nights spent talking to my dog about the meaning of life and.....wait a minute....I really mean to say: You put soap in your shorts? What the hell is wrong with you?

Don't worry, I wasn't about to put a bar of dial under the boys... :D

Any rash that is created by fungus or bacteria can be alleviated with the use of a woman's antifungal (against vaginal yeast infection). The milieu is the same (hot, humid, and raw exposed flesh), so the conditions are neat for the bugs to develop.
So get a tube of (don't remember the brand name) at your local pharmacy, clean up and dry the region, apply the cream, reclothe with clean clothes and there you go again
Little trick I learned after a nasty case of the rot was to dry the "region" with a blow dryer (no pun intended.... Well okay, it was intended). Then apply all your creams, ointments, etc. It works!!!

For that matter, don't put a dog in your shorts either.
