Hi all.

This is the first time I've tried to mess with my 2010 Torker Graduate. I bought a Bike Nashbar adjustable stem (http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_10053_10052_174784_-1_201511_10000_200460). Trouble is, it doesn't seem to fit. I thought I had researched well enough to avoid just this kind of problem, but apparently not.

Stems, they're just supposed to slip on over the tube, yah? You're not supposed to have to widen them, right?

thanks,

Keith.

How much widening does it need? Are the bolts completely loose? Some stems are a tighter fit than others, especially when brand new.

I know it's a different topic and you didn't ask for it, but just in case you don't know... If the height of the stem's clamp is different than your old stem, you may need to add or remove spacers.

I've backed the bolts all the way out, and if i'm going to make it fit, I'm going to have to put a screwdriver in and pry it open a little. I'm just not sure if that's normal.

And yah, I knew about the spacers. Thanks.
