I recently purchased a used 2003 Litespeed Classic bike. It came equipped with Ksyrium SL wheels. It may be my imagination, but it seems like the rear wheel is "dragging" a bit.
For example, when I put the bike up on the stand and crank up the rear wheel and then I stop, it does not seem to spin for as long as it "used" to. By compariosn, my 1989 Bottecchia, also with Mavic sealed hubs (the old 550 series) seems to keep on spinning for a lot longer after I stop turning the crank.
Maybe it is all in my imagination. Assuming it is not, however, is there a way to "loosen" the hubs (or the hubs lock nuts) in order to allow the wheel to spin a little easier? BTW, the read casette is an Ultegra casette.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
