This bike came along when I purchased a Nishiki road bike. While I'm pretty good at estimating most vintage road or mountain bikes, I'm totally out of my element when it comes to 20" bikes.
This Sting Ray is a girls model. It's all there. The front wheel was replaced, but I have the original. The coaster brake works fine. The saddle has a deep cut that doesn't show up in the pic very well. THere is some wear on the bike and some fading of the decals. Otherwise, it's pretty nice. I know these things are worth more than the average 20 inch bike, but I have no clue what the value is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Al, I would love to assist, but I have zero experience with children's bikes. I know some people do really well on old Sting Rays. Not sure which models, types, etc... A quick glance at ebay looks like the girl's styles are not drawing the interest of the boys bikes. Of course, parting it out would allow you to draw some of the boys interest in to your auction. The Paramount I bought was from a seller with 99% of his sales being Sting Ray/Krate bikes. I know that guy has done really well on his stuff.

I would do a search of both Stingray and Krate parts if you go the part out route. I bet the wheels, handlebars, stem, seat post, fenders, grips, pedals, crank, etc., all have value to the Krate crowd.

Thanks Bill, For simplicity, I'd like to sell the whole bike. But just for grins I think I'll check ebay to see what the parts are bringing. Thanks
