I just installed the spokes on my first cross 2/Rohloff. The spokes seem to take the best line when they cross under/inside the outer spokes. So on a cross 3 they go under 2, and over 1. But in this case they go under two and then attach to the nipple . Is this correct. Or is there some advantage to a different routing like under one, over one?
Spokes should touch at the outer cross. Having them touch at the inner cross will put a nasty bend in them. Not having them touch at all leaves them more prone to going slack IME. Might not be much of an issue on a hub with equal dish.
