Group Buy - Ibex Wear Group Buy

We are setting up an Ibex Wear group buy. Unlike the last offer which was a coupon
this time we are going to be offering one Jersey, and Shorts or Bibs, both mens and
womens versions. We are also discussing having www.bikeforums.net embroidered on
the jersey and would like suggestions of font and placement of the embroidery.
For now I'd like to get a feel for which Jersey you'd prefer, and an approximate number
of people who are going to participate.
I will provide more details once I have an idea of the number of orders, including how to pay
etc. We are estimating that the cost will be about 45% off of the listed prices at Ibex wears
web site.

Many of these links also have customer reviews. Based on that, I am leaning toward the Giro jersey over the Indie.

Would we be able to select colors, or would there be only one option? As a roadie, I'm biased toward brighter colors for visibility on the road.

color choice is up to you (as far as I know for now) the script is up in the air. If people are adverse to it we can probably forgo that.
Speaking of which there is a $90 charge to set up the embroidery and then a charge for each jersey. The $90 will be spread among
all the buyers and the individual charge added to the final cost (which I'll let you know prior to ordering)

I would do the Indie and Duo combo...

I'm down with a jersey (undecided on model) and Arrivee Bibs for sure...

The Giro is a bit heavier than the Indie and may hold up better to wear and tear.

A few thoughts here from someone who wears wool all year.
The weight of both the Giro & Indie are what I use for a Spring/Summer top. You can wear a thin base layer with LS or SS or arm warmers.
My thought is this.
a) I buy similar SS units by Swobo which are better @ Bonktown for $36-45 on sale which comes up pretty often
b) Why the full zipper? I use a half zip and its really perfect, besides a full zip allows cold air in the winter .
c) You should look at Oregon Cycle or Earth Wind & Rider for better pricing on custom pieces.

Not knocking Ibex since I also own several pieces from them, but I think there are a few options here even in Long sleeve

I'd be interested in the bibs in black (and could do without the bikeforums embroidery to be honest). Wool gloves/liners would be nice too!

I like the Indie jersey and the women's long shorts.

Interested in the women's long shorts. But can they ship USPS to the Great White North? (Fedex/UPS run into customs issues)

I have two pair - it's thin but comfy for me. It's well-stitched in but starting to come undone after a year of continuous use (probably close to 5k miles on each pair). Nothing a little needle and thread can't fix. Overall, satisfied enough to get another pair or two...

I need to apologize to everyone as I haven't done anything with this.
Nov and early Dec hasn't been a great month for me, lost a very close friend
and had a family emergency.
