Bought 2 front brake pads today and when I got home I realized they're both 'left side' ones. Does it matter if I use a left brake pad on the right side (the arrows would be reversed)? Thanks!

Having no idea what kind of pads these are or what type of brakes they are for it would be impossible to give a difinative answer but, as they are labled "left side", I'd assume there is a reason.

The brakes are off a 2009 Specialized Allez triple: Ultralight dual pivot brakes, Teflon pivots, forged alloy w/ cartridge pads (from their website). I'm just wondering if there would be any issues if I ride with them as it's inconvenient for me to head back to the bike shop.

It'll work, but not as well and might cause shrieking noises when braking.

Do they fit in the shoes correctly? If so, it probably won't be a problem.

Yeah, they fit fine, just the V grooves are reversed on one side.

did you buy new holder and pads or just pads? if you install them wrong the pads could be ejected from the holders.
