Looking for a decent kickstand for my commuter bike. First, I have started taking my 18 month-old boy on my bike in the mornings and dropping him off at a friends on my way to work. The boy is in a co-pilot taxi seat plus two bags, his and mine. The bike is quite unstable with the boy on the back and I NEED the bike to be stable while I put on his helmet and get him and the gear situated. There is not always a place to prop the bike and even if propped, the bike can get away from me. Also with a heavy bag the bike is not stable with standard kickstand.
I've found some kickstands, links below, and would like to know opinions if anyone has used them - do they fit your bike? I have disc brakes which adds to the congestion around the rear axle which may be bad for at least one type of kickstand (greenfield).
LINKS:
-HEBIE (Germany) Price: USD 36.60

-ESGE (Switzerland) Price: USD 49.99

-26" Alloy Double Kickstand Price: USD 18.00

-Greenfield Rear Mount MTB Alloy Kickstand Black Price: 14.99

The Greenfield was not a good choice for Disc Brakes as it got in the way of the disc.
I have found that once I got used to using a kickstand it was hard to be without especially when dealing with heavy commuter bag and no place to lean bike.
Why can't we get good commuter bikes with all this commuter accessories built-in like in Europe?
Regards
