So I was thinking today, inspired by a recent thread, that I should put bar-ends on my risers. But then I started thinking, "How wacky would it be if I had drops on my risers? What an awesome idea." My googling has only turned up these (http://cgi.ebay.com/Mountain-Road-Drop-Bar-Ends-Converter-/310258718825?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item483cdc5869) so far. Anybody know of any other options?

Here's the same set for two dollars cheaper Booyah (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290491127321#ht_549wt_648)!

Amazon has the same origin 8 set for $22 also if you don't like ebay.

I couldn't find another brand and I searched for a whole 30 seconds. That's saying something.

I think it would be cool to have drop bar ends on risers. Most people on here are going to hate and just tell you to get real drops with hoods.

Be aware that these origin 8 bar ends have 22mm clamp diameter and you're risers might have a larger outer diameter than that. Measure twice, buy once.

it's been done before, if that's what you're after.

I had a pair in a shop I used to work in. The drop bar bar ends were wonky as all get out. I wouldnt do it if I were you. Just pick up a set of bars like Carleton posted.

Haters. Here I go.

That's what I said, but since gave up from laziness. They don't like putting bar ends on things in this section of the forums.

i'll do you one better. found these puppies at the local co-op a while back. turns out i hate them (for practical purposes). i never use the drops... but frankly i almost never use the drops on my road bikes anyway... still they are too funky to let go of.

Wow, those are all kinds of funky, I'm jealous. I have a soft spot for things that funky, regardless of how ridiculously impractical they might be.
